2nd Phase Selection of Micro Area with Bengali Market

Micro Area
The second phase of the assignment was to select Micro areas within the Macro area. So each one of us have chosen a particular area or shop and a problem within this area to which design solution can be provided.

From my Macro environment -Bengali Market, I have chosen Brij Pal and Sons Cloth Merchants as my micro environment. This shop is small and lies between the popular Nathu Pastry shop and Affinity Salon but it does not gain the equal amount of popularity that these two neighbours have so I would like to work on this aspect. 
Two find out any design solution, it was important to figure out the reason. As I noticed that this cloth merchants shop is not very popular because its a small area of display which is not at all visually appealing. The store connected with the shop has all the possible variety which is readily available but not in the main display area. Therefore visual merchandising is the aspect I have chosen to work on. I felt it was important to take up this shop as it is centrally located with excellent quality fabrics, so it needs a little attention on its display.
